whats the best thing to get rust of

  1. #1
ther is like 2 mm of rust on my rear drums
ive attackd it with a wire brush for like half hour
and it just seemed to make a load of dust and none of the big chunks of rust come off its like bubled if that makes sence

and just wondering how easy would it be to change from drum to disc's on the back probly wont do it but was just wondering and if they evern do rear discs for saxo in 3 stud for the back ....

Discs on the rear are four stud.

Why not swop to a four stud set-up front & rear?
Will give better braking and a larger choice of wheels!

    as said by quick.

rear discs only come on the vtr & vts models and are always four stud.

as suggested by quick a complete front and rear four stud setup with rear disc conversion would set you back about £150-200 in parts and depending on garage you take to could cost you anywhere between £150-£??? in labour.

its probably a 3 hour (maybe a bit less) job if you go to a decent mechanic.

it will give you better breaking and there is a vast amount of wheels to choose from with a four stud setup as apposed to the very small selection and size of wheels available in three stud.

    Hope this helps.
