need help quick

   basicaly my mates alternator has packed in and were having trouble taking the alternator belt off, ie we cant work out how to adjust the tenshenor, any one got any tips please

   Should just be a long threaded bolt..unscrew it and it should pull the alternator Closer..and slacken the belt.
