what wiring to get !!

   hi
   
   i have bort a SONY-XM-SD46X amplifier and i had a sony xm-255ex amp in there and the 12v wire was 8mm thick im just wondering if i would have to change that wire becuse i have got that new amp??

   the best saxx, i have 4 guage atm, runs my 2 amps perfectly
