Important! : Cant lock my car!??

Went to lock my car today with the Clifford fob and the doors locked and the alarm armed but then the locks popped open again, kind of like when you try to lock the car when the drivers door isnt shut properly.

I have got the car to lock but had to keep the drivers door open, pull the handle open as though you were opening the door, press the fob to lock it (which it does) then close the door - leaving the car locked and the alram armed but this is only way to successfully lock the car - any ideas on what might be preventing it from locking in the normal way "shut the door and lock it"

    Tricky, check fuses grounding.

Key fob battery maybe even car battery not charged enough.

But also as said check the bonnets closed propery, maybe WD40 the mechanism of the lock.

Its deff something to do with the drivers door, you cant push the door pin down on the inside as something is stopping it going down and when you close the door and lock the car it locks and the pins go down but 1 sec later the pins pop back up unlocking the car again, alarm stays armed though.....
Checked the bonnet latch nd all is ok there - currently the only way to lock it is hold the drivers door open with the handle pulled back (as if you were opening the door) and lock it, then shut the door

Theres a bit on the lock that you need to bend, common problem, come accross it a few times now. Had it twice on my car and the same cure for all these cases.

Can you tell me exactly where? Behind the door card in the inside or the locking part set into the door...? Pics would be very helpful if you have any.

Its hard to say which bit of the lock. But its the actualy lock mechinism inside the door. The bit that the lock release handle wire connects to and the pull pin connects to. Held on by the 3/4 torq bolts you see from outside of the door. Take that out, have a fiddle and youll work out which bit needs bending
