vtr conversion problems. . .

    Right
i got given a 1.1 that was nakerd. so thought i would go and get a vtr lump for her , which i found one with around 70,000 miles with gearbo wiring loom and ecu , took the old engine out and put new one in in a day , which tbh . is peeing me off , first the ecu now the fuel pump. every other conversion ive done as straight forward. no problems. but immobilisor wasnt right , so sent my ecu off to be unlocked and got it back today . plugged it all in. went to start it . wont fire up . took the fuel line off and cranked it over , nothing . no fuel . located the pump under rear seats, and there is no power going to leads. only one lead when ignition is on. which i am gathering is the fuel gauge. does the ecu have anything to do with this ? or isit just a wiring problem ? and if so , which wires are power, so i can rewire a new lead in. it did work with the old engine. or is there anything else i can try ?

    many thanks mark

check all the wires going to the starter motor, as i think 1 of them has something to do with the fuel pump
