Saxo Grinding :(

    Hey guys

i have gotten a grinding coming from the front right of my car it seems to kick in more after i take my foot off the acelorator and when the clutch is down, also the grinding gets worse the longer the car has been driven (after its warmed up?)

i have been getting it for a few months now on and off and it is getting worse, had new gearbox and clutch last month and the grinding has continued! took it to citroen and they didnt know what it was said it deffo wasnt sticky brake calipers or anything related to the brakes, and the guy at the garage that done my clutch and box has said it could likely be the offside driveshaft?

dont think it could be Thrust or release bearings as the clutch kit replaces them aswell i think?

can anyone shed some light on this?

Sounds like the CV Joint within the offside driveshaft will be shagged. starts off as a whirring noise then develops into a horrible grinding sound. Pick a Driveshaft up off ebay or europarts and that should solve your problems. i Replaced mine from ebay cost about £18 bit of a bargain though. good luck mate
