    In the drivers footwell area, Remove the steering column cowl panels by removing the two torx screws.

    You need to trace three wires: rear wiper wire (labelled 520), Rear washer wire (labelled 530), earth wire (labelled m0005). Cut the rear wire wire (520) and tape up the end leading to the wiper switch - you don't need this anymore. Now cut the rear WASHER wire (530), and join the switch end to the other end of the rear wiper, Which leads to the tailgate. Join the remaining washer wire (530, which leads to the washer pump) to the earth wire (m0005, a general wiring harness earth wire).

    Thats it. If when you try it the solenoid pushes outwards and not inwards, swap the two wires around on your solenoid

    Hope this helps?

    buy a multimeter
    makes it so much easier.

    turn the rear wiper button then get some one to test with one of the wires has 12v going through it,

    then im not sure which one on the boot bopper.
    black=earth
    and try the 12v feed from wiper button into any and see if it pops open

    all i did was use the grey and yellow wire from the wiper and i think it was the blue and brown on the popper you might have to switch around to get the correct in out motion i didnt do any thing with the wires under the steering collum and mine works fine

    what do you do about the black wire or do i have to earth it anywhere?

    For the earth just wire it to the yellow/green wire on the saxo wiring loom

    The other wires one has to operate the popper, and if it is infact a boot popepr then it should return to its original position just off one wire

    i cant remember which of the wires on the saxo loom is which now though, as long as its earther the worst you can do is blow a fuse for the wiper/wash
