IAC Valve Problem

   Hi, the other day I changed my IAC valve on the Saxo to the exact same part as what was already in there. I literally replaced it, and nothing else.
   
   All it does now is jumps straight to 4,000 revs and sticks!??!!
   
   I'm totally baffled anyone have any ideas?!

   The answer mate is in the FAQ I think but basically what you`ve got to do (I think)is turn the ignition key on & off to the 2nd turn(3 times)
   (without starting the car)this initialises the idle control valve.

   Disconnect your battery for a few hours then do what I suggested to initialise the IACV.
