unknown noise - with sound clip

   hello all
   
   My T plate Saxo VTR is making a strange noise when out on the road.
   
   The noise starts after a few minutes of driving
   It gets worse when slowing down
   It goes away when accelerating
   It is audible when in gear or in neutral
   I'm unable to say for sure which side of the car it is coming from

   I have that very same sound !! same conditions as well, ive changed both driveshafts and had the wheel bearings and the suspension checked and all is fine.

   Check intermediate driveshaft bearing. If the noise happens in netral its gotta be shaft of less likely wheel bearing surely?

   How would i check the intermediate bearing ?
