I wanted to do something like this, vt kitted and low.

They allready do a 1.6 16v that makes 110bhp so I presume this is some form of vts lump

    ive done a nice conversion....

smart car forfour brabus engine into a saxo.....

its a mitsubishi 1.5 16 valve turbo with around 180bhp standard....

but its been chipped and a full custom exhaust made for it so should be pushing 200bhp....

just need to get it on the rolling road!!

    yes ,
it would be a very easy conversion as berlingo multispace has the ti5jp4 fitted as std
also loads of room for s/c

they actually make a berlingo van with the tu5jp4 engine as an option ,but I have never seen one --always diesels

I have often thoght of boosting a mulispace for a works vehicle + fit "drug dealer 21inch wheels"to it .with spinning centres of course
    LOL

beauty of it is its uses the be4 g/box ,same as the diesl ones + piccasso,so better brakes .g/b ox ,more room --than saxo .

so does the berlingo use the same running gear as the saxo?? as in suspension etc ?
  10. #10
no, front end running gear is more in line with a 306
