Best place for an exhaust...

Hey, Im just looking for the best place to get a nice exhaust for my MK2 VTR ( Centre section and backbox, Not interested in de-catting at present)...Doesnt have to be the best on the market.. But preferrably one that will sound nice and with a backbox that Doesnt sit Chavtastically Low..... and one thats not going to cost me an arm and a leg.

Oh yeah, and one thats legal ( Sound DB limit) lol... Dont want the fuzz on my ass.
    I j

Ive seen the ones on kam racing for around £235...
Thats for a supersprint C-section and a Kam racing back box (Stainless Steel)

But i was browsing ebay... and come across this... ( Bear with me, I dont know a huge amount about part brands and which ones to avoid.

CYBOX - Sounds decent cause its got the Clamps and Hangers n everything needed... Cant be bad !

If your not wanting a loud one then the second one you have linked may not be for you, it states on the page that it is designed for race/rally use and isnt sound tested.....this one.

If you're looking for a good sporty sound without being too intrusive. Try http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SCORPION-STAIN...item35a82a41b3 I've used them before and they always last forever and have never failed me

Exactly, and that 2" one is the race kit anyway, you could also get the 3" inward rolled backbox with the Road kit, which also comes with a Cat

Mines the mk2 .. cats in the manifold m8...Would that 2" Still work... I get confused about all this cat back n stuf.... am i right in saying it would Fit...a mark one ... cause the cats in the exhautst but on an mk2 the cats in the manifold... So wouldnt i need an exhaust with a centre sections thats NOT got a cat in it.....cause theres no point in having 2 cats ? get a dog instead !

Yeah ill check it out mate, Definately... I've been looking around everywhere and i think im considering that Cybox one from ebay... Ive been on many forums and ive read that they are a very good Direct/Snug fit for a VTR.

All hanger and clamps are included. A few people say that cybox are peco under a different name, But people (who had this system on their VTR)
Said they are far better constructed than peco ones etc ... and that they were really happy with them, and the guys selling them are really sound to deal with.

I suppose if i get one i can get a video/Pics and show you all what its like after its fitted.... Its under £200 delivered For the stainless steel backbox with 3.5" tip (Or a choice of whichever one) and the None silenced Centre section.... So its still going to be MOT legal for my MK2.

Apprently fitted to a VTR, they're not ridiculously loud either... Just a nice rasp and low tone on idling...

I have some vids of one fitted to a C2 VTS.... and one fitted to a focus... I know its uncomparable to it being on a VTR... But my point is that people seem to be happy with their purchases. Including the ones that have one on their saxo.
