hubcentric spacers

  1. #1
Im looking at getting some spacers for my wheels,
purely so they sit a bit wider

I am avoiding the crappy cheap universal ones, no worries there

i just need some info and help on selecting the spacers, im after 15mm ideally

I have been looking for a good set, and have found a few different types,

The hubcentric spacers which have a lip which fit in the wheel and just require longer bolts,
Are these a good alternative to the bolt on and safe ???

and then hubcentric which bolt to the hub annd require normal bolts,
these sound like a good idea and safe ??

then hubcentric which bolt to the hub and require nuts to secure,,

If anyone has any experience with any of these please post,

safist will be bolt the spacer to the hub, then bolt the wheel to the spacer

As above, spacer to the hub and then bolt the wheel to the spacer. That's what I use and they are 25mm hubcentrics

safest way by far, iv got 20mm hubcentric. you may have the problem i have, because it makes the wheels sit out more it apply more pressure on the axle causing the inside of the tyres to wear up rather quick if you do alot of miles. iv gone through 3 sets on the rear to my 1 set on the front......

Also you do get abit of wheel wobble at high speeds all depending on how wide you go, mine isnt much at all. My hubcentrics are so that i can fit for wheels on.

i might leave it for now and look into 15mm spacers soon just to sit a bit wider,

i cant be doin with the wheel wobble and defo not the 3 sets for back to one front, especialy as the front yokys only last 6k lol
    gets expensive
