   Silly question but how many bolts hold the gear box on and what type of socket/star hex? Im sure they are star head bolts?

   8mm hex, 4 of them plus 3 13mm bolts for starter, small bolt in dust shield on lower bellhousing

   is it possible to remove the gearbox and leave the passenger driveshaft still bolted in the hub and pop it out the gearbox? i cant get to the hub nut the car is stuck up against a wall with no rear axle and i need the gearbox

   think it would be possible but i've never tried it on a saxo.
