not running from cold

   had a read of a few other threads... but could this be causing the car to not run from cold... once ive got the car warm its fine. from cold say its been left on the drive it doesnt start up it just cuts out and i have to feather the throttle until its warm.
   
   where is the sensor for the temp?

   another little query what sort of miles do you lot get to 15£ i get about 100 at the moment this maybe because its cammed but not mapped
