Judging by the tread on mine the proxes 4 seem more of a daily tyre than a half track half daily tyre as to the T1-R

compared to t1r's there shit, if your looking for a sticky tyre i would recommend a yoka prada spec 2's , i used to run t1r's on my ibiza and it just span up everywhere changed it for these spec 2's and its a lot better to drive, just a case of if they make the tyre in your size.

would say toyo proxes t1r's but they only make a 195,45,14 which is slighly wider than the normal size but fit fine.
toyo proxes t1r don't compare to goodyear eagle f1's imo. currently got f1's on 2 of my wheels and t1r's on the other 2 wheels. which i front to rear, the wear rate of the t1r's is crazy where as the eagle f1's last far longer, offer slightly better grip in the dry and much better grip in the wet.
on average, eagle f1's last me easily 50% longer than the t1r's.

T1rs wear quickly specialy on the edges due to them not having a reniforced side walls
second that, they'd be dead in minutes on a track, as i said, they literally fall apart and under very aggressive cornering the tread actually rips off.

"half track half daily" is a semi slick, T1-r's are not semi slick, ergo they are a road tyre
