   hi my neighbour as just offered me a rolling saxo vtr but no engine or windows as he was going to use it as a banger car but he uprated the shocks to bilstein shocks buckets seats but i was wondering would any vtr engine fit in theres on the excited ecu or would i have to buy engine with ecu thanks

   excited ecu?
   i assume you mean existing? if its got ecu and loom you can fit the corresponding engine to it yes

   sorry yeah existing ecu but thanks better start looking for new engine then

   As mentioned in several thousand other threads, make sure you get the engine from the same year car to make sure the looms match.
