turbo vtr advice

    looking at starting my turbo project on my vtr in the next couple of weeks just need to now a few things first

    what turbo is best to run low boost under 10 psi....t2 t3 etc??

    what exhaust manifold could i use from another car or do you need a custom one for a vtr??

    any other advice regarding anything else much appreciated......

    T3 is quite a big turbo for a 1600 engine if you planning on low boost. A T2 will spool up quicker and should provide what you need without the lag.
    Custom manifold is only way because citroen did not make a turbo 8v TU engine.

    There are guys on here who have turbo'd vtr's, I am sure they will add to this post shortly. In the meantime ahve asearch about and do a bit of research. You gonna do a progress thread? Would be interesting
