ive done a search on this problem and carnt find a thread that said their car jerked at high revs.
anyway, ive recently brought a 1998 1.4 quiksilver and all is fine but every now and then when doing 70-75mph on the motorway it will jerk asif i have pushed the brakes for a second.
the revs do not seem to be affected but as it is a sudden jerk every now and then i havent noticed the revs go down if they do.
when i say every now and then. well it does seem to be getting more frequent.
i was thinking spark plugs,fuel filter and run some redex through the system but i wanted to make shure it isnt something as simple as cleaning a sensor.
