radiator

Hey people yesterday my car was started after 2 weeks of being sat and for some reason after 20 mins of being ran on idle i herd 2 clicks and had a puddle of water 5 mins later .. looks like i have 2 holes in the bottom of the rad only very very small but is still leaking.
i have found a vtr rad on ebay that has done 100 thousand miles i think and was wondering if it will fit on and replace my 1.1 rad with ease it is from a mk1

And while i am here where is the temp sensor located as if i get the rad i will get the dials to and need that to get the gauge working :/

    Cheers Curt

100 K rad will be dead or dying. Get a new one for about £50.00 locally or try scrappy. I would swap like for like to avoid fitting problems with hoses and fanrad mounts. Really the 1.1 does not need any more cooling capacity than standard stuff.

i am not too fussed about cooling like i just dont want a leak .. it is really annoying me it is leaking but the expansion bottol still has the same amount of water as it did a month ago it is really confusing me :/
i will just get a 1.1 one and see how it goes see what ebay and euro car parts has to offer rang around scrappies and no one has a saxo that aint been front ended oh well on wards and up wards :/
