My alternator died a few weeks ago with the usual telltale signs, battery light, no PAS or blowers etc... So i popped to the scrappie and got another one... ok fine! i have power steering and blah blah but its not charging the battery one little bit! battery is reading 12.6v on multimeter wether the engine is on or off (but only after a good charge) what is it? bad earth? dodgy bushes or springs? please help cos its costin a fortune in electric!!
