6000K vs 8000K HID - show me!

    Not sure weather to get 6000K or 8000K HID kit.
    Dont want hassle from the police obviously, but i do go down alot of dark narrow country lanes at night and stuff, living out in the sticks!

    Just show me, night time pictures please.

    dno mate, 6k are best for white, 8k have some blue so are illegal but dw bout that look it up on ebay ro somewhere on google

    ive got 8000k and are pukka a little blue but very white compared to standard stuff

    I read on another forum that if you go over 6000k that it actually is a waste, because the light is blue it does notmake it brighter and actually makes it hardeer for your eyes to distinguish outlines contours etc. I'll try find a link but recomend you have a look into it tbh, I was a bit shocked to hear it but the logic is there.

    your right, 4.3k is the best because its yellow light which outlines objects better, the more you deviate from this, the more it becomes blue, and the dimmer the light gets. i found 6k to be a happy medium between style and function
