Which bolt sets the tension ?

see the slender screw on the lower left of the pic, that looks bent as hell...?
that adjusts the tension, or used to adjust tension anyway.

Get some engine cleaner on that mess mate, might make it easier to sort

Yeah it's bent like, screw it in towards the alternator or away from it towards the ground? I've tryed both but the tension seems to stay the same

clockwise - reduces tension
anti - increases
if i remember correctly... but it's not going to last long before it snaps so I suggest you get the mechanism replaced asap

Cheers for that mate, I think the crank seal's leaking aswel judging by the oil all over the place.
