engine management light

    Morning folks can anyone advise?????

    The engine light came on this morning and aint gone out checked all usual stuff could this be a more internal fault.

    Go to a garage and get a diagnostics done on the car. For peace of mind to see what might be wrong with it.

    I had the same problem, a while ago now. It was coming on and staying on most of the time, without causing any problems. Then sometimes it would flash and it sounded like I had a tractor engine under the bonnet.

    It only seems to do it when it rains a lot, however, since I have stopped driving short distances and now commuting 80 miles everyday for work, the light has gone. Seems like a bit of a random Saxo problem. Hope that helps

    yeah me too take the car out for an hours drive. its when u do short journeys or cats been sat there for a while mines gone off after a motorway drive a couple of times . it didnt make any weird noises or power loss when it was on tho strange
