headunit

   Just a little problem that ive had since i took out a touchscreen headunit (cus it was exs and wanted it back) and put my old one in..
   
   Before i took out the touchsreen one the settings would save and now that i have my old one back in the settings dont save?
   
   Was just wondering if anyone new why?
   
   There are only two connections that go into the back of it and there both plugged in so what could be causing this problem?

   had a jvc unit years ago that did that, swapping over permenant live and ignition live cured it, im guessing at the mo when you turn the ignition off its completely cutting the power rather than putting the head unit into strandby hence loosing all settings

   yeah 01_vtr is right ,you need to switch them over mate
