When spray painting should i laquer? (bumpstrips)

    Sprayed my bumpstrips gloss black should I also Laquer them?

    if you've done it with gloss black cans then yes i would lacquer

    To halfrauds for more Laquer then!
    Guessing the usual sort of three coats...

    yeah i would i didnt and the paint chipped after a year but bit i have laquered the stone chips have casued the laquer to flake

    always leave at least 24hours after spraying to laquer

    If you're using rattle cans then you'll need laquer.

    If you're using propper paint, then you can get paint which doesnt need a clearcoat, all of the non-metallic colours.

    halfords lacquer goes cloudy though

    funny that, iv found i get better results laquering STRAIGHT after paint...

    it is, i'm a panel beater/painter and you lacquer after you have painted, don't leave it 24 hours

    im using cellulose jet black from my gun ,and dont need to laquer as its a solid colour. Just wet sand/ buff to a shine ,looks a lot better than some laquered paints ive seen . very deep luster

    but hes done it with cans, not everyone has access to equipment or the skill to use guns
