   Your cat will be in the manifold if its a mk2 vtr, so a 4,2,1 manifold will de-cat it.

   na its under the car, the later mk2 put em in the manifold

   You have a mk1 engine etc then.
   
   Just keep an eye out on eBay, usually cost like £30.

   a mate of mine picked one up in a local scrap yard for a fiver, might aswell have a look round, maybe even get the center section of a mk2 later spec vtr if that would fit.
