quietening an exhaust/backbox?

    iv recently got a new back box and it is stupidly loud, but it looks nice so i want to keep it. is there any way of quietening it down with out adding a center silencer? thanks

    Soundproof your entire boot, your rear quarters, front doors. etc etc.
