vtr to vtr engine conversion

   currently have a 03 vtr with 66k on the clock and fsh but also have a engine in the garage with 33k on the clock and fsh
   
   do you think its worth droping it in?
   will it make the car be worth more money?
   will i have to change the clocks aswell?
   whats involved after, just ring the dvla and insurance and tell them?

   i would not bother.
   it will DECREASE the value of the car as you have messed wiht the enigne and this puts alot of people off a car if they know the owner has played with the engine.
   
   id just sell the enigne or keep it as spares incase something goes on urs.

   how much do you think it is worth?
   just for the bare engine ?
   33k fsh mint condition?

   Run the current engine until something goes badly wrong with it then drop the lower mileage engine in? Lol..

   It isnt a conversion couse its the same engine. Your current engine may be trouble free for all its life up to 130k yet the 33k may have problems within a month!
   
   Value will decrease as poeple wont be as trustworthy and suspect a clocked engine etc
   
   Leave it alone and keep the 33k engine spare untill you eventually need it.

   50£-100£ theyre worth fuck all. Probably worth more to you than it is in £
