went out to car this morning and battery was dead

    as above went to try and start it and it was dead didnt leave my lights on or anything like that. the battery was new a month ago
    anyone help would be much appreciated

    Sounds like somthing is permanently live draining its power overnight.

    Alright mate

    Make sure your parcel shelf aint covering the little button that turns the boot light off that happened with me and for a week solid i kept getting a drained battery ! But worth a try anyway never know

    You can narrow it down by measuring current taken and removing each fuse until the drain stops then at least you know the circuit at fault. To measure current:

    Earth----[-BATT+] 0------[MULTIMETER]-------0 [+ BATT LEAD].

    Do not turn anything on while measureing current, and especially do not try to start the car. The multimeter will likely be fried.

    i had the same prob with mine last year.. it was a wire on top the head going to a little black box that had snapped off. all i did was fix the wires back together and it was ok. hope this helps?
