engine squeel

    holas,

When my engine is cold it squeels. I thought it was the alternator belt or bearings but it seems like its coming from the gearbox region.. to me it does really sound like a belt, though im no expert haha =]. Has any1 got any clues on what it could be?

    cheers.

If the noise goes away when you press the clutch in it will be the release bearing.

i had the same problem on my old vts it used to make a funny squeel/whining noise like a supercharger lol

i was told it may have been the cam belt to tight?? as it done it without the alternator belt on too
