Need to get some aerocatches for my fibreglass bonnet, come accross these on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tchlink:top:en but they're the only ones i can find, anyone know if this is a good price or if i can get them cheaper anywhere? cheers

cheers mate just had a look and they're slightly cheaper, not sure what to go for though - whether to get the key locking ones or not? the key locking ones are about an extra £10er, but do you actually need them?

I've gone for the key ones - just a bit of extra security I suppose if you remove your bonnet catch completely.

If a 100% track car then I wouldn't go for lockable ones.

    Did you write that correctly?

If your taking the lock/bonnet release off completley then you need locking one a daily drive for definate, or poeple can come along undo them and walk away with your bonnet. It happened to someone on here with his carbon bonnet 1 of 5 made.

but there is still the catch that you click the bar in the passenger footwell with the bonnet, so you still cant lift the bonnet up at the moment - im driving with it at the moment without aerocatches.

im confused - do i need the key locking ones or can i do with the ones that just click without a key?

If you are installing aero catches you are going to take the original bonnet catch off, if you dont it's kind of pointless imo. That means the bonnet release will no longer work as it won't be connected i.e the aero catches are all that will be holding the bonnet down.
