yes another locking wheelnut thread

    Hi i have four locking wheelnuts on my vts which i cant get off but after reading all of the post on here i thought i would have a go my self so i got a impackt sockets smacked it on and turned and this is what happened





    as you can see i have half of it out
    i hope i dont have to drill all four out if so the wheels are free to anyone who can get them of

    weld a 19mm bolt on to them and take them off that way thats what i did

    i have tried drilling one of them but it is taking a silly amount of time

    Took mine to a little local garage, he chiselled them off with an air powered chisel thing. Back 2 came off no problems, front 2 took 30 mins each as they were done up too tightly. Still, a tiny bit of damage to the wheel (scratches on the rim), done without an invoice for £20! Don't go to Citroen to get it done, they quoted me £60odd at one garage and £85 at another!
    Try to chisel in the direction the wheel nut turns and they should just pop off like my back 2 did, drilling them is a right pain in the ar*e
