fog light legality?

   i want to spray my fog lights the same colour as my car, becasue atm they have tint spray that has run and looks blue and crap tbh.
   
   problem is i dont know where i stand regards to m.o.t, im persuming this would be a fail but not entirley sure any help?

   Its a bit complicated. If your talking front fog lights then they are not required so really you can do anything you like with them. But there are laws about what you cant do to cars. For example if you where to fit red or blue lights in there place then that would be illegal even if they where turned off. If you just wish to paint them black like you car then you have hit a bit grey bit of the law. As if there black you could argue they where no longer lights. Unless you where driving about with them on when its not fogy and people could see the light as that is against the law on its own I cant see you having any problems with it.

   yeah i ment front fogs sorry, well i may go ahead and paint them then. if anyone kicks up abit of a fuss, i assume i can just take them off as forte's dont have any front fogs either?
