Head gasket gone?

  1. #1
For the last one, two months my saxo kept on overheating and getting airlocks in the system so I bleed it and it would be fine for afew weeks then I would hear water running so bleed it again. I bleeded the system afew days ago and the water coming out of the radiator was mixed with oil? I drove it today, when I stopped there was a water leak from the back of the engine?
Theres no mayo under the oil cap? and I do have an oil leak.
    cheers

Just the other day my car overheated and broke down, the AA man said that there is no commpression and that there is petrol mixed in the radiator. Also as I pushed the car on my drive I could hear a sound coming from the engine, maybe a belt?
Does this mean the head is gone? Do I have to take it off and get it skimmed?

no compression usually means your head gaskets gone dude

Damnit! Ok what do I have to do now?

    get a compression test.

check the cambelt to see if it's in one piece.

Ok guys I've done the compression test and the readings were; 80, 50, 40, 40.
There was smoke coming out from one of them, my friend told me the piston rings are gone (bottom end) and maybe the head because it overheated while I was driving it. He said my options were to get a second hand engine and get it fitted or put it up for sale for spares or repair?

    Fit a second hand engine.

    Those reading are low
