   can you plug a engine loome from a 1998 106 gti into the interior loome on a saxo vtr because i have had the engine upgraded to a 106 gti but not sure about if i can change the loome and ecu ??

   no you cant, you just use the vts loom from the same year car as your vtr, and the ecu can be either gti or vts ecu as they are both the same and as is the engines

   rite so vts loome will plug into interior loome and all engine plugins like inlet manifold thinkgs such as fuel injectors idle control etc and do i need an unlocked ecu

   yes you want an unlocked ecu unless you have the key, pickup ring and transponder for the new ecu

   does the interior loom work with the engine being a 16 valve instead of the daft 8 valve
