no pull in 1st gear

   i recently had my gearbox changed and now wen am in 1st gear it seems like theres no pull just revs and dosent pick up speed, any ideas?

   If you rev and the revs shoot up but you dont go anywhere then sounds like a slipping clutch. Did you use the same clutch during the gearbox transplant or a different one that came with the box?

   na didnt change it just kept the same 1, it was a second hand box mate

   as above sounds like clutch is slipping

   Revs + Wheelspin = ok
   Revs + Acceleration = ok
   Revs + goes nowhere = slipping clutch (should be able to smell it with your window down - horrible burning smell)

   what gearbox have you got on now and what was on before?
