Important! : ridicuolous amounts of wheel wobble :n:

  1. #1
just fitted a set of 16" wheels on my car, which is lowered 60mm all round, the rear wheels are 9j and the fronts 7j, and the clearance wasnt great in the arches, but they were ok, no scrubbing, except poss on full lock..
the 20mm spacers were on fine and done up fine, the wheel bolts were all fine and done up properly...
and driving at 30 seemed fine..
then got onto motorway, luckily speed was reduced to 40mph and the wheel wobble was hurrendous at that speed, so cant even imagine how bad would have been at 70mph..
have asked sumone and they think could be that the wheels need balancing up, which sounds fair enough...
was just wandering if anyone else had any other theories???
    any help is much appreciated..
    cheers
