cam carrier gasket

   how easy are these to do, or is it worth going down a garage? mines pissing oil out and i wanna get it sorted for FCS as im hoping to stick it on the rolling road there.
   
   and if i take it to a garage, what kind of money could i be looking at forking out?

   easy mate, take the covers off, clean the faces off the covers and on the head, apply a beading of some good quality engine sealant from halfords and put the cover back on and tighten the bolts up,
   
   some people leave the sealant to slighty dry and go tacky before they fasten it down fully

   thats cam covers... im after cam carriers. you have to remove the cam belt and camshafts for the carriers

   oh sorry teach me to not read it right lol
   
   yea cambelt has come off, once thats done basically same as doing the cam covers tbh, but if ur like me and not confident with cambelts easier get someone else do it lol

   yeah i can do alot on cars... but when belts get involved i GTFO lool!
