   does anyone know if Ashley backbox is any good at the moment i have 5" hitachi backbox from essex racing its very loud but dont sound raspy or anything.

   Ashley in general get good vibes. The sound etc would depend on what spec of exhaust you get.

   yeah 5'' is really big, but it wasn't that loud when i saw you mate?

    yea im not a big fan of that to be honest, needs to be alot raspyer.

    Urmm yeah but a little less burble if you get me, it pops though still i had the backbox on a standard pipe for two days before my ss and it pops on down gears etc.

    It's loud when over 3000 revs and if you take it through a tunnel it sounds the pure sex, real head turner as well if am in traffic and give it a little kick, sounds nice inside as its not too loud but love the different tone it creates when you see the rev counter go round.

    It will be a bit more raspier come later on in the year when i have a 4-2-1 manifold fitted, i dont want it too raspy though as it drowns the other sounds on the car itself.

    I'll drive and get a video for you lot whilst the car is on the move, i'll try and double sticky tape my cam to the dash and take it through a tunnel or something.

    ha nice 1 lol i have got a 4-2-1 mani havent fitted it yet tho my backbox myt sound good when i get that on then yh like raspy
