How would i go about removing the 12v socket in the dash...just to clean it up a bit?

the cig lighter?
if yes, i found a piece of wood and tap it out carefully

with a small hammer. it does come out, alot easier to replace than to get out for some reason

Would a tiny flat bladed screw driver do it do u reckon? insted of the hammer.

hammer would be best, think theres clips keeping it in. just easier with hammer i tried for ages with screw driver
