205 gti brakes on a vtr

   ive been looking at some 205 gti brakes to go on my saxo vtr. They are the 283mm ones. Does any1 kno if they would bolt rite on?

   is this an aftermarket kit as standard brake calipers do not fit that size disc.

   yeh i fink it is an aftermarket kit mate, it says
   
   Complete Kit to get 283mm Discs onto a 205 GTI1.6, without changing hubs, shafts etc.
   
   Includes brackets and bolts, just take the old ones off and bolt these on.
   
   You will get
   
   2 x 283mm Cross Drilled and Grooved Vented discs, no lip on either disc.
   
   2 x Standard Calipers with Green Pads, lowest pad has 7mm so still some miles in them
   
   2 x Brackets and bolts as required
   
   These have come off my car and stopped brilliantly, I have only taken them off as I have changed to 1.9 hubs.
