Getting fuel out

   Currently got £30 in my GTI which is deemed a write off so i want to get it out and put it into my courtesy car before the scrappers pick it up.
   
   Any idea on the best way to syphon it out of my tank?

   hose and u gotta suck it out into another barrell. if u do it right, youll get it going on its own

   Shouldn't come near your lips if you siphon it correctly. Make sure you're underneath the highest point of the hose and if you can use a clear tube. As the fuel passes the highest point stop sucking - gravity will do the rest.

   if its gettin scrapped jus jack it up n dril a hole in the bottom of the tank just use a counter sink bit

   yeah or undo the junille clip near the front of the read wheel at the back of the tank and chuck it into a few buckets

   Connected a pipe to the fuel pump and primed it Worked a treat, 15 litres lol

   thats how we do it with the breakers we get but it always leaves a couple of gallons in, i learnt the hard way last week when i took a tank off that we had pumped "dry", covered myself and workshop floor with unleaded. Bummer!
