vtr crank seal...

   not sure if anyone can help. need to order a crank seal and im being asked what year it is and and engine code ect. the saxos not local at the mo so cant check and its had a replacement silvertop engine so reg wont matter. are all vtr bottom ends the same ? could someone give me some sort of code ?

   IIRC early mk1 black tops had a rope seal on the crankshaft.

   If you know the year of your engine then give em any reg for that year (google it eg). If year not known you might need to get both (or more!) types and replace the one(s) you don't use.
