oil pressue gauge fitting

   could someone please help explain how i fit my oil pressure gauge lol i got the kit and i understand all the wiring its just i dont get where i fit the pressure unit itself?

   where do i screw this into?

   To fit mine on my 1.6 8v, i removed the original sensor from underneather where the oil filter goes and fitted it there. Had to have a special adapor made however as the thread on them aftermarket sensors is usually 1/8th NPT and the thread on the original sensor was much larger. Not sure what engine you have or if you need to keep your original sensor, it will be a different location on a different engine.

   I replaced the original one too, but would only recommend that you do it if you have alright quality gauges not the cheap ebay junk and they have an alarm to indicate of the oil pressure drops off.

   hi mate just put one in my vts. u need what they call a t piece which is screwed into the oil line under the oil filter and the sender unit screws into the top and you put the original plug into the front of the t piece and connect it all together. hope this helps
