    £550 only worth it if its just been rebuilt with receipts to prove.

    You can buy a fully reconditioned gearbox for under £350 from numerous places and that usually will come with 1-2 year warranty.

    IMO the s2 rallye box is awesome when matched with 16v engine. ive tried most combo's (gti,s1 rallye,s1 xsi) and im most happy with s2 rallye.
