Important! : gearbox trouble

    ive had play in my gearstick ever since owning my saxo and i fort it was the linkages and ive had them checked and they seem to be fine im told its the pin on the back of the gearbox wich is worn and need a new box willl this solve gear crunching loose gearstick ???????????

    You need a new pin not a new box! who told you it was a box? the pin is about 80p and takes around 5 mins to change

    Speaking of which,mine fell out today,but im going to make my own tomoz,and make it longer,drill a hole either side,and stick cotter pins in to prevent it happening again.

    a garage told me inside of the box is worn plus do you now the name of pin so i can get1

    I used the end of a chuck key,but made it a bit longer than the original so i could drill a hole either side,and stick some cotter pins in,so it wont drop out again.
