What do the buttons on the dash do?

   On a VTS, there are 2 buttons, the left one seems to change between total mileage and trip, if you hold it in it resets the trip. But the right hand side one doesn't seem to do anything?

   like you say they do the trip ect, if you look in your manual your find that you can reset the service indictor, set the clock ect thro them, by accident a couple of days ago i found that if you keep tapping the right hard one when you have your lights on that the dials brightness goes up and down

   yeha my friends mk1 vtr ha a dial brightness adjust underneath, but my mk 2 has the hole for it but no adjuster so when i clicked itwiht my ights on it turned myn brighter and down
