Help needed asap!

   hi all got a mate and his 1.1 "T" reg saxo doesnt sound good from what ive heard, he has told me that it idles ok but a bit off (thinks its mis-firing) and as soon as you blip the throttle (put foot on peddle) he said it loses all power and cuts out!
   
   Any suggestions?

   Check the throttle cable (which i'm sure you've done) air flow mass meter maybe? orcould even be a problem with the E.C.U...

   if he jus taps it very slightly then it aint normal, but its nothing to worry about, loads of them do it. Who blips the throttle when driving lol
   
   If you mean he gives it throttle and maintains it then it does it then get a diognostics done, possibly coilpack. Also give the car a service, which will help things if its due.
