newman ph3 with turbo

    could newman ph3's be run with a turbo or would it cause problems?

    not 100% sure but think you would be better of looking at a different cam but i am still learning

    I would say you'd get too much blow by with a higher profile cam, such as this - but best to get more opinions

    If you're going boost, you'd be better off keeping standard cams or going for 'turbo profile' cams.

    it will be fine. you're better off changing to the standard cams because as simo said you will get blow by. however, it will work fine on ph3's.

    A friend of mine has ph3 + turbo and has no problem at all!

    i also would like to know as iv got newmans ph3 cams and want a stage 1 turbo fitted

    turbo cam would be better obviousley but the ph3's will run, depends on how much boost you run, and aslong as your aware it'l increase your spool up time.

    Standard cams will be better suited.

    too long duration to be a good turbo camshaft
