#2unless its been glued on by a previous owner most standard gear knobs just twist 90 degrees and pull off

#3I've been trying this on my Mk1, and which way do you turn, and do you have to move the gaiter at all?
-
#4be a man just yank it off
-
#5yeah just twist and yank.

#6pretend its your cock and tugg it like you normally do

-
#8i had to put mine in gear 4th woked for me then a massive tug and off it comes. check your fist on snroof tho accidents happen
-

#11You people have saved me so much mucking about and general interior destroying with simple gear knob advice. Thank you so much. Wish me luck (or call me a (gear) knob) in my attempt to fit an american 2 1/4 cue ball thereon.
